How do I become a member?

1) USSA Age Class re-alignment is incorporated as PARA membership classes. The resulting class structure is outlined:
• U10 - 2006 or later • U12 - 2004, 2005 • U14 - 2002, 2003 • U16 - 2000, 2001 • U18 - 1998, 1999 • U21 - 1995, 1995, 1997

USSA also modified its Alpine Athlete Membership Structure, accordingly: • Competitor – age 12 and over, $150, all athletes pursuing competition at or beyond State Championship level, includes points and rankings. • Non-Scored Student – age 14 and over, $100, all competitors pursuing competition below the State Championship level, does not include points and rankings. • Youth – age 13 and under, $80, all competitors pursuing competition below the State Championship level, does not include points and rankings.

Primary medical insurance is a pre-requisite of USSA Membership. There is no longer the option to sign a waiver of insurance. Any member (competitor, coach or official ) MUST have primary medical insurance. This requirement makes each member eligible for the USSA secondary coverage. Health insurance cards should be in hand at the point of signing onto the USSA website to begin the registration process.

The deadline for USSA and PARA membership is October 15th. After that date, USSA’s $25 late fee and PARA’s $15 late will be applied.Rates are maintained at the same level as last year, $35 for competitors and $5 for officials and coaches.
