In an effort to manage expectations and travel, we are making the call to cancel the Friday Super G training portion of U14 States at 7 Springs.  Gunnar Slope does not currently have the width, especially on the lower steeps, to safely run the event.  Even though there is a window of snowmaking going into President's Day weekend, we feel it is best to call the event so that the mountain can focus its efforts on our race hill on Avalanche, and so that the participants can plan accordingly.  I am sorry for the inconvenience of having to alter plans, but I think it is best to make a clear decision on this as opposed to dragging our feet hoping for something that may never transpire.
